God's Tattoos !

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands"... (Isaiah 49: 15-16)

Recently, I saw a young man who was tattooed on the right side of his neck. It was a female name in Amharic. When I asked him about the implication of the tattoo and why he was having it on that particular part of his body, he told me the secret with a breathtaking tone. He was tattooed to express his deep love for his newly born baby girl.

God is tattooed on the palms of his hands. The print of his tattoo reads all of our names. We are all on God's hands. Nothing shall separate us from his hands. Nothing shall removes us from the palms of his hands.

We are God's tattoos. We are the beauty of his hands, the decoration of his might. We are on his hands by which the sea was divided, the wall collapsed and the land controlled! These are the hands of God from which the manna came, the rock sprung water and the clouds showered the rain.

We are God's tattoos and our hope will never fade away. As long as we are on God's hands, we enjoy life every day. We are on God's hands and we enjoy a blessed stay. We are on God's hands, and therefore, we are upraised. In case of challenges, he wins our battles and we are uplifted.  We are on God's hands, therefore, we are programmed, protected and promoted. We are tattooed on the palms of God's hands, therefore, we are so much loved and always cared.

“Can a healthy mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? No, it is not possible for a nursing mom to abandon the baby at her breast. Sometimes, this could rarely happen. But this never happens with God.  God will never let his children down. He never abandons! This is why he had us engraved on the palms of his hands.
